The Great War 1914-1918

Spanish Civil War 1936-1939
On July 18, 1936, the military garrisons of 17 cities rose in rebellion against the communist government of Spain.

Using unique original newsreel footage, this DVD takes you through all the major battles and incidents throughout the three years of Civil War in Spain, including the surrender in March 1939.

World War II 1939-1945

Korean - Our Time in Hell 1950-1953
On June 25, 1950, the North Korean army invaded South Korea, violating a truce struck at the end of World War II, and starting a conflict that would bring the U.S., China and the Soviet Union to the brink of nuclear war. Our Time in Hell tells the story of the Korean War with newsreels, original archive footage and extensive interviews with American soldiers.

Hungarian Uprising 1956
On October 25th 1956, many Hungarians attending a peaceful demonstration were fired upon by the secret police, the hated AVH. Hundreds were killed and the incident provoked a Civil War which cost the lives of 20,000 Hungarians as they tried to liberate Budapest from the Stalinist regime of the Soviet Union. This remarkable programme tells the complete story of the bloody conflict.

Vietnam - A Special Operations War 1954-1975
This exciting documentary tells the gripping story of the men who fought with the American Special Forces in Vietnam. It was a brutal and sometimes very ugly war with both sides showing little mercy to their enemy. The Special Forces were never defeated in Vietnam, a claim few other units could make.

The Falklands War 1982
The Falklands War is a powerful record of a conflict that cost more than a thousand lives. Featuring remarkable archive footage, atmospheric battle reconstructions and 3D animated graphics we are provided with a unique perspective on famous battles such as Goose Green, Tumbledown Mountain and Wireless Ridge.

The Falklands War also features the memories and recollections of British and Argentine servicemen who went to war in the South Atlantic more than twenty years ago.
