The Official film of the 1986 Open.
If 1977 put Turnberry squarely on the map, 1986 consolidated the fact that this is one of the greatest Open courses of them all. For three days wind and rain buffeted the beautiful west coast of Scotland and the world's finest golfers struggled to tame Turnberry.
In the end it was the mighty Australian Greg Norman - the man who threw away the Masters and US Open - who triumphed. Hotly in pursuit were in-form Tommy Nakajima, England's Gordon J Brand, Welshman Ian Woosnam and German Bernhard Langer, but on the day no-one could deny Norman the most important win of his life.
Narrator Andrew Cruickshank, commentator Peter Alliss.
