Description
A box set, containing 8 separate programmes (all of which have been available separately before):

The Top End, Australia
We explore the wonderful peninsula around Cape York catching mackerel, golden trevally and queenfish whilst Rex tries not to get stung by the infamous box jellyfish! See Rex show off his culinary skills by preparing his famous flake and take in the sights of Crocker Island as well as the vast wetlands of Kakadu in the Northern Territory. To top it off, Rex visits Broome in Western Australia where a shark devours his blue salmon right in front of his eyes!

Australian Whoppers
Rex is back to celebrate some of the most magnificent catches hes landed in his time. Travel with him all over Australia in search of the big one. Watch Rex catch, kiss and release striped trumpeter, longtom, turrum and bald chin groper to name a few. But the highlight has to be the most remarkable catch of all time, a 10 foot hammerhead shark right on the beach at Cape Don.

Fresh Water Fishing, England
Rex is in England in search of the most celebrated chalk streams. We start our fly fishing programme in the clear waters of the Itchen River. We explore Billingsgate Market in Canary Wharf as well as visit John Wilson in Norwich at his privately owned lake abundant with carp. We fish for pike and perch in the canals around Cambridge as well as in a peaceful fishery in Andover.

New Zealand, England, Solomon Islands and Thailand
Rex is in search of some of the finest fishing locations on the globe. From stunning countryside on the South Island of New Zealand to the Itchen River in England, Rex finds some fantastic trout. We also visit the Solomon Islands where Rex lands archer fish, trevally and mangrove jack. We end in Thailand and the tourist mecca of Phuket where Rex goes in search of northern blue fin tuna, wahoo and dolphin fish.

Out of Africa
Rex finds himself on the mighty Zambezi River and follows it through Zimbabwe, Botswana and Zambia. He is in search of tiger fish, an incredibly strong fighter with enormous teeth. Rex visits the spectacular Victoria Falls, home to the highest bunji jump in the world as well as exhilarating white river rafting. Rex also drops in on the Kariba Tiger Fishing Tournament where the emphasis is on taking part.

Japan and Vanuatu
Rex explores Japan, land of the rising sun and computerized reel! Highlights include pole fishing in The Nagara River, night-time cormorant fishing as well as the active breeding programmes at Shirahama Aquaculture Research Centre. We also explore Vanuatu, one of the South Pacifics best kept secrets with its 83 individual islands. Rex lands mean trevally, coral and luna trout. We finish by swimming with a playful sea cow.

New Zealand and Albany, Western Australia
New Zealand is the top trout fishing destination in the world. Rex finds abundant rainbow trout in gorgeous scenery and enjoys the fruits of the sea cooked in the sand at Hot Water Beach. Back in Australia, Rex visits the coastal fishing town of Albany, 400km south-east of Perth. Rex lands southern blue fin tuna as well as making an outing further east to Esperence, home to the red snapper and where a massive cuttlefish devours Rexs sergeant baker!

The Kimberley and Broome, Western Australia
The Kimberley Region in North West Australia is one of the most natural in the world. Rex travels via helicopter to stunning fishing spots on The Chamberlain River in search of barramundi. Whilst out to sea, he gets his giant trevally eaten by a black tipped reef shark. We also focus our attention specifically on Broome in the far tropical north of Western Australia. Giant trevally, mackerel and crocodiles all feature but the highlight has to be Rexs first ever black kingfish, a monstrous 38lb specimen.
