Presented by Jonathan Davies and interspersed with interviews from Dai Smith, Vivien Jenkins, Clive Rowlands and Robert Jones, this DVD traces the ebbs and flows of the dragons from the foundation of the Welsh Rugby Union in 1881.

Shortly after the inception, the first decade of Welsh dominance started, sparked off by an epic defeat of the touring All Blacks in 1905. The next period of Welsh dominance was some years later - the great team of the 1970's, Gareth Edwards, JPR Williams, Phil Bennett etc, the names that have become the very fabric of Welsh history.

The DVD includes an incredible archive of Welsh success, including the epic 13-12 victory over the All Blacks in 1935, and Cardiff's even more remarkable victory against them in 1935 ending with captain Bleddyn Williams being carried off the pitch on the supporters' shoulders.

All the most important 5 Nations victories are covered, including Watkins' incredible try to defeat France 9-8 and clinch the 1966 championship, the amazing win in Paris in 1999 and, of course, Scott Gibbs' wonder try at Wembley in the same year to prevent an England grand slam.

This DVD is a superb collection of great tries, great moments, great teams and, primarily, great passion.

Important Information on PAL Region 0 DVD compatibility.
PAL Region 0 is now the most popular format sold by Green Umbrella. It ignores the original Region Coding designed for DVDs. If you own a multi-region DVD player (i.e. one which will play any Region of DVD) AND a television which can receive the PAL signal then this DVD will function correctly.

To the best of our knowledge (although we accept no responsibility for the accuracy of this information, and would thoroughly recommend that if you are in any doubt you consult your electrical retailer for advice before making a purchase) this PAL Region 0 DVD is designed to function in the following PAL TV countries:

Abu Dhabi, Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Angola, Argentina, Ascension Island, Australia, Austria, Azores, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bosnia Herzegovina, Botswana, Brunei, Cameroon, Canary Islands, Cape Verde, Cayman Islands, China (Peoples Republic), Christmas Island, Cook Island, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dubai, Easter Island, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Falkland Islands, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Gambia, Gaza & West Bank, Germany, Ghana, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Holland, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macao, Macedonia, Madeira, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Montenegro, Mozambique, Namibia, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norfolk Island, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Sardinia, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Swaziland, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Tanzania, Thailand, Tonga, Tristian Da Cunah, Turkey, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, UNITED KINGDOM, Vanuatu, Vatican City State, Yemen, Yugoslavia, Zambia, Zanzibar, and Zimbabwe.

NB. This DVD will NOT work in NTSC TV regions (such as United States & Canada) unless your DVD player can play Region 0 DVD's (ie it is multi-region) AND your TV can receive the PAL signal. If you are in any doubt please consult your electrical retailer before making a purchase.

However, although we offer no guarantees, some of our customers in USA and Canada have successfully played these DVD's on their PC (not TV) equipment. Again, if you are in any doubt please consult your electrical retailer before making a purchase.
