Description
The series to New Zealand is arguably the toughest of all the challenges faced when touring the Southern Hemisphere. Only once have the British & Irish Lions won a series in New Zealand - way back in 1971.
The 2005 tour proved to be as tough as ever, with the All Blacks clinching the series after winning the first two Tests - the second Test being an awesome display of attacking rugby. The Lions did lose key players to injury, but in fairness the best team triumphed.
On this DVD you can relive extended highlights from all three Tests, as well as the key moments from all eight provincial games:
1st Test: All Blacks 21-3 Lions
2nd Test: All Blacks 48-18 Lions
3rd Test: All Black v Lions
Bay of Plenty 20-34 Lions
Taranaki 14-36 Lions
Maori 19-13 Lions
Wellington 6-23 Lions
Otago 19-30 Lions
Southland 16-26 Lions
Manawatu 6-109 Lions
Auckland 13-17 Lions
